Why Word files get big — and how to shrink them
A Word document is mostly text, so when it's 20 or 50 MB the cause is almost always pictures: phone photos pasted at full size, screenshots saved as huge PNGs. This tool rebuilds the .docx and makes each picture smaller — scaled to a sensible size for its page and saved again with good quality — and packs the file at the highest compression. Choose Light for print, Balanced for screens (recommended) or Strong for email limits. The text, tables, styles and layout don't change, and the new size shows before you download.
