Which programs make RTF files?

WordPad, Apple TextEdit, Microsoft Word, LibreOffice and many business, legal and medical applications can save or export Rich Text (.rtf).

Are headers, footers and footnotes kept?

The body of the document is converted. Headers, footers and footnotes aren't drawn — add a header and footer in the studio with the Header & footer tool if you need them.

Are pictures in the RTF included?

Yes — PNG and JPEG pictures stored in the document are placed where they appear in the text.

Is my document kept private?

Yes. Your file travels over an encrypted connection and stays private to you — nobody else can open it. Projects you save are kept in your account until you delete them, and download links we email you expire after 7 days.

Convert RTF to PDF online — keep the formatting

Rich Text Format is still everywhere — saved from WordPad, TextEdit, older Word versions, legal and medical software. This converter reads the RTF and lays it out as a PDF that keeps what matters: bold, italic, underline and strike-through, text sizes and colours, alignment and indents, bullet and numbered lists, tables, pictures, line and page breaks, and accented or non-Latin characters. Choose the page size, text size and page numbers, and finish in the Mega AI Studio: add a header, sign or protect the PDF before you download.
