Split a PDF by its bookmarks
Long PDFs usually have bookmarks — the table of contents in the side panel of your PDF reader. Drop the PDF and they are read for you: each chapter becomes its own file, from its first page to the page before the next chapter, named after the chapter. Pick sections or sub-sections instead for smaller parts. Pages before the first bookmark (cover, contents) become a file of their own. Everything is downloaded together as a ZIP.
Automatic
Chapters found from the PDF's own bookmarks.
Named files
Each file is named after its chapter.
Any level
Chapters, sections or sub-sections.
