Split Names in Excel
Split a column of full names into First name, Middle name and Last name — or split any column by spaces, commas, semicolons or dashes.
Drop a spreadsheet or CSV
or browse from your device — .xlsx, .xls, .ods, .csv, .tsv
Full names into first and last, in one step
Mail merges, CRMs and forms want first and last names apart, but exports give you “Mary Ann Smith” in one cell. The file opens in Mega Excel Studio with Data tools on Split a column: pick the column and choose Names — the first word becomes First name, the last word Last name, and anything between Middle name (that column only appears if someone has one). Or split by a space, comma, semicolon, dash or pipe into as many columns as needed. New columns are inserted to the right, so nothing is overwritten.
