No. The content is encoded directly in the pattern — there's no redirect service in between, so it keeps working as long as the link it points to does.

PNG or SVG — which should I pick?

PNG is perfect for websites, slides and messages. SVG is a vector file: use it for print, signs and anything that might be scaled up.

What is error correction?

Extra data that lets a code scan even when part of it is damaged or covered. Medium suits most uses; choose High for print that might get scuffed.
