Yes. Since iOS 11 the Camera app recognises Wi-Fi QR codes and offers to join the network.
Which security type should I pick?
WPA/WPA2 for almost all home and office routers. Choose WEP only for very old equipment, or None for open networks.
Is it safe to print my password?
Anyone who can scan the code can join, the same as anyone who can read the password. Use a guest network for public spaces.
